Beach Garden Hotel ★★★

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The view from the hotel is great with lots around to keep you busy, plenty of good restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. When I did complain about loud music, they acted upon it straight the way and made sure the music was turned off.

They need to put some signs up to ask other guests to not shout and scream when walking in the corridors. Was full of youngsters who had no respect. The hotel is tired and needs a refurbishment, loose and old tiles and bricks around the grounds. The gardens would look so much better if they had a gardener keeping them looking good. The shower in our bathroom was a trickle, so there was no decent water pressure at all. The toilet seat was flimsy. Breakfast was cold and not good apart from the bacon, but still cold, scrambled eggs were awful, watered down orange juice.

You have to walk through stairs and outside Of the reception area without covered pathway to our room.

Room was very dirty, had a stuffy nose the rest of the trip. Its basically nothing more than a place to lay your head. Pool looked awful and the poolbeds were nasty.

Brilliant location, great view! Rooms are quiet. AC is working, quite brilliant.

There was no shampoo at the hotel or shower gel. Only soap that isn't really great for washing hair

We had to request all what is usually basics, expected to be in a room- towels, blankets, soap. Window/balcony couldn’t lock. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very primitive. No refrigerator,no kettle , don’t provide water or some tea or coffee in the room

Travelling alone got the worst room in hotel, mid week water went and asked me to go to communal showers at pool with no lock,, not a hope when i kicked up they gave me a room to shower,, very basic especially with all other beautiful hotels around it,,very loud area music blaring till 4 every morning,

Breakfast is very good. Also the swimming pool is nice. In the room is conditioner and hairdryer. Shower is also ok.

In the room, there was no shampoo and shower gel. The view from the room wasn't that bad, but it was really loud as the view was to the street. Also, sometimes it was loud from inside the hotel as the door wasn't soundproof. The most terrible was one of the beds we had - it was screeching with every move and very loudly. The room itself is very simple with no fridge, no safe, no glasses, but at least with conditioner. There is no where to hang wet swimsuits..

The place was not clean. No security. People enter and leaving without and verification. No lift. The photos on the booking is not reflecting the current reality

Facilities too basic for what is paid

Kindness of reception staff, much appreciated. The room was clean and was just okay for a few nights. Bed was confortable. We had a lateral sea view, which was nice when we woke up. We believe it’s more a 1star than a 3star. Location is good as it’s easy to reach any place in Malta by bus (bus stop St Julian or Paceville). But be aware of the night life. Shopping mall and many bars, restaurants etc available in the neighborhood, including a fun bowling center.

The hotel in general needs a big refreshment and several works. Our room had some little things that needed to be fixed, like a broken drawer or water leak from the boiler, but nothing too serious for us as we were there only to sleep - we spent all day out. Quite noisy by night, but we knew it, as it’s located at St Julian s most busy night life.

Location is ok. Not far from the sea.

1. I got completely different from the one I booked. 2. Condition of the room is not the best one. 3. Almost all night you can "enjoy" of the music from outside.

The only good thing I would say it is very central to the strip and supermarkets. It has a nice pool for a sunny day.

I would not recommend this place if you are staying in st. Julians. Firstly, the rooms have only one socket yet there were three of us staying. There’s also a door on the wall between two peoples rooms so you can hear everything from the other room. Our neighbours were shouting and being loud in the middle of the night. It was terrible. We were kept up from 5am. Our towels weren’t changed once during our stay. We had to ask for some on the last day. The room is not equipped with any appliances such as an iron, hairdryer, and kettle considering the price of the room. The bathroom shower head stand was broke and the tap kept on stopping and going as it was on. SO NOT WORTH 366!!!!

Room was a long way from reception. Room was upstairs, no lift. Room very dated. Curtains coming off rails. No tea making facilities. TV didn't work.

The hotel staff, the gay guy was awesome!

- Very big pool! The beach is super close so it’s cool. - The location is PERFECT for people who came to party at Paceville. It’s a very dynamic area. - Air conditioner in the room saved our lives

So much to tell. - if you want to rest forget it, as I said, It’s near paceville so theres a lot of young people so there are making noise. It was ok for us because we came for this. - The clean service. Only on the morning around 9-10 so you have to leave the room if you want them to clean. And its like they check if there is room to clean in the hotel just once a day, you have to put the “clean our room” if not it’s dead lol. - The room : a lot of tiny ants - The breakfirst :very cheap that’s why we took it. Big mistake. Very little buffet, the taste is bad, we met people at the hotel and they agree. Forget breakfast.

Malta is beautiful. A little to expensive. Receptionists are the best in the "Beach garden hotel" , unlike other staff.

The google and TripAdvisor reviews has us terrified about staying here, however I do think because we paid extra for the see view that our room wasn’t as bad as other people have had. Our air conditioner worked, bathroom was tiddy, and the location was fabulous.

The landscaping could be kept up to date, and all the cats walking around

The staff were nice, and the breakfast was good.

The room smelt very musky, and there was no lift.
